Experts Event is a digital invitations and event management service, available as a mobile application (Android and iOS) and at expertsevent.com. It is owned and operated by Total Expertise for Trading & Industrial Co. Ltd, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("Experts Event", "we", "us").
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before creating an account or using any of our services. All services are provided for your personal use. By registering or using the services, you confirm your agreement to, and unconditional compliance with, all terms, rules and regulations contained in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not register or use any of the services.
2Eligibility and Account Registration
An account is created with your mobile number, which is verified with a one-time code sent to that number.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and you may only register with a mobile number that you own or are authorised to use.
The services are not intended for children under 13, in line with our Privacy Policy.
By registering and using the services, you agree to comply with all laws, rules and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3User Responsibilities and Account Security
Treat your login details, verification codes and any other registration or security information as confidential, and do not disclose them to anyone.
Contact customer service immediately if you suspect any hacking of, or unauthorised access to, your account.
Report any wrong practice or suspected security gap that may affect the application or its users to support@expertsevent.com. Failing to do so may expose the user to legal accountability.
You are fully responsible for the content you submit or process through the service, including event details, invitation text, images and comments.
You confirm that you have the right to send invitations to the people and mobile numbers you add as guests.
You are responsible for compensating Experts Event for any loss or damage caused by your misuse of the application, by intentionally introducing malicious or technologically harmful material, or by attacking the application or disrupting its services.
4Application Services and Features
Experts Event helps you organise your event from start to finish. Depending on the version of the application, the services include:
Creating an event: type, name, date, time, location on the map and a digital invitation design.
Selecting guests from your contacts and sending the invitations to them via WhatsApp.
Attendance confirmation (RSVP): guests confirm or apologise directly from the invitation message.
A personal QR code for each confirmed guest, scanned at the entrance by the guards you assign to the event.
Attendance statistics, notifications, comments, greetings and sharing event moments (photos).
Postponing or cancelling an event, with notifications sent to the guests.
5Invitations, Orders and Transactions
Invitations are paid for using your wallet balance. The balance is a number of invitations, and each invited guest uses one invitation.
You can save an event as a draft and complete it later. When you complete an event, the invitations needed for its guests are deducted from your balance.
After payment, the request is placed under review so that the invitation content can be checked. Invitations are sent to the guests once the event is approved.
Guests added to an event that has already been approved are invited right away, and their invitations are deducted from your balance.
6Payments, Fees and Refunds
Invitations are purchased through the packages shown in the application. Prices are shown in Saudi Riyals before payment.
Fees for the required services must be paid using the electronic payment methods available in the application (such as mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Tabby), processed through a secure payment gateway. Experts Event has the right to change, modify or impose new fees if necessary, and users will be informed of this.
When using the services, the user may be charged taxes such as Value Added Tax (VAT, currently 15% and added at checkout), withholding tax, or any tax imposed now or in the future.
After payment, the request status changes to under review so that the invitation content can be reviewed. If the request is rejected, the service request fee will be refunded to the user.
In the event of a technical malfunction, or if the application is unable to complete a service that has been paid for, the user can request a refund of the amount paid for that service.
All refunds are transferred to the user's wallet. The amount cannot be refunded to the original payment method unless the user wishes to cancel the account permanently and not use any of the services provided in the application in the future.
7Cancellation and Modification
You can edit an event saved as a draft before completing it.
You can postpone or cancel an event from the application. The guests are notified of the cancellation reason or the new date through the application notifications and WhatsApp.
Refunds related to any cancellation are subject to the Payments, Fees and Refunds section above.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the application. Refunds to the original payment method when cancelling the account are subject to the same section.
8User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
The user must not misuse the application in any way that violates regulations, laws or public morals. It is strictly prohibited to publish, advertise, distribute or circulate material or information that contains defamation, violates the law, is pornographic or obscene, or is contrary to Islamic teachings.
It is forbidden to use the services to send commercial messages, unsolicited or unauthorised advertisements, or any similar abuse.
Comments and the commenter's username are visible to other users. Comments must respect public morals, the regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Islamic teachings, avoid inappropriate or indecent words, and stay focused on the invitation.
Stay away from sectarian, tribal or regional strife, affiliations or loyalties, and avoid racist topics or sectarian differences. Check for errors when writing any Qur'anic texts or religious opinions, and preferably avoid them.
Do not write personal information, including contact information, in comments.
Users may report any comment or post that violates these standards, and Experts Event may stop or delete it at its absolute discretion.
9Intellectual Property Rights
Total Expertise for Trading & Industrial Co. Ltd owns all intellectual property rights in the application and its contents, which are fully protected by the Saudi regulations for copyright, trademarks and other proprietary rights.
Unless otherwise stated, the contents and materials of the application may not be sold, licensed, rented, modified, copied, reproduced, reprinted, uploaded, advertised, transmitted, distributed, publicly displayed, edited, or used to create derivative works for the public or for commercial purposes, without prior written consent.
The user may not upload any files containing software, materials, data or other information that they do not own or are not licensed to use, and bears all legal consequences of doing so, including compensating any affected party.
10Privacy and Personal Data
Experts Event protects the data entered into the application in compliance with the personal data protection regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and takes appropriate measures to protect it from loss, unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure.
Personal information is only collected when you choose to provide it, and it is only used to provide the services you request. Some technical information may be collected when using the application, such as the phone type, the network used and the date and time of access.
The guests' names and mobile numbers you add are used to deliver the invitations and record attendance.
The application may request access to your contacts and photos for purposes related to the service you are performing. We recommend creating a photo album with only the images you want to use and limiting the application's access to that album.
To provide the service, Experts Event relies on trusted third-party providers, including:
WhatsApp, through an authorised WhatsApp Business messaging provider, to send invitations and receive attendance confirmations.
A licensed electronic payment gateway to process payments.
Google Maps to show the event location.
Push notification services to send in-app notifications.
Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Experts Event is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services or websites linked from the application.
12Service Availability and Limitations
The application may be updated and its content changed from time to time to suit users' needs and improve the services. Access may be temporarily restricted for operational reasons such as maintenance or adding new services.
Communication over the internet may be subject to interference or interception by others. Delivering invitations depends on the guests' mobile numbers being correct and on the availability of third-party services such as WhatsApp.
Experts Event makes every effort to examine and test the contents of the application. The user should use antivirus software for any material downloaded from the application.
13Limitation of Liability
The services provided by Total Expertise for Trading & Industrial Co. Ltd are only intended to make tasks easier for users. The user acknowledges that resorting to and using this application remains their own responsibility. Experts Event is not responsible in any way for any losses or damages of any kind that the user may incur as a result of any delay in operation, communication failure, problems accessing the internet, equipment or software malfunctions, or the behaviour of any person accessing the application, nor for any loss or damage caused by viruses, distributed attacks to disrupt the services or other harmful technological material that may affect your device, programs or data. The user acknowledges and agrees that their exclusive remedy for any damage or loss resulting from accessing or using the application is to stop using it.
14Suspension and Termination of Accounts
Experts Event may, at its absolute discretion, terminate, restrict or suspend a user's right to access and use the application, with or without notice, for operational reasons, if the user violates these Terms, or for any behaviour it considers illegal or harmful to others.
Experts Event may deactivate any user account or password at any time when required. In the event of termination, the user may not access the application under their previous name or any other name.
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your profile in the application.
15Changes to these Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time by updating this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. If any of these terms are changed, the user will be notified, and continuing to use the account without cancelling the registration within 24 hours of the notification is considered acceptance of the new terms.
16Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions, their subject matter and formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any claims arising from them. The user has the right to complain and litigate at the residence of the opposing party. The user is subject to the provisions of the Anti-Cybercrime Law if they commit any of the violations stipulated in it.
